Hazrat Anas bin Malikرضی اللہ عنہ  narrated that once Nabi Kareem صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had meat of a bird, He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم supplicated that “Ya Allah, Send me the best creature that eat this meat with me”. Then Hazrat Ali came and they both ate the meat. (Termizi, Tabrani)

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas رضی اللہ عنہ  narrated that Nabi Kareemصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم  said that “I am the city of knowledge and Hazrat Ali is the gate of it, and who wants to enter in the city he should come from this gate”. (This Hadith has been narrated by Imam Hakim and said this hadith is Sahi-Al-asnad)
